You must be at least 18 years old to use FeelSparked. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

To use certain features of FeelSparked, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate and current
• Keep your password secure and confidential

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

You retain ownership of content you post on FeelSparked. By posting content, you grant FeelSparked a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display your content in connection with the Service.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any violation of these Terms of Use or for any other reason.

FeelSparked is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FeelSparked shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Service.

1. Our Privacy Commitment

At FeelSparked, your privacy is our top priority. We do NOT sell your data. We do NOT spy on you. We do NOT use your information for advertising.

We follow the Proton Mail zero-knowledge encryption model: your data is encrypted on your device before being sent to our servers.

2. Zero-Knowledge Encryption

Your messages and profile data are encrypted on YOUR device before being sent to our servers:

• Client-Side Encryption: Data encrypted with keys derived from your password using PBKDF2 (100,000 iterations)
• We Cannot Decrypt: We cannot read your encrypted profile data or messages
• You Control the Keys: Only you can decrypt your data with your password
• No Password Storage: Your password is never stored - only used temporarily during your session

3. Data We Collect

Account Information:

• Email address (for account verification only)
• Password (hashed with bcrypt - we cannot see your actual password)
• Date of birth (to verify age requirements)

Profile Information (Encrypted):

• Photos, bio, interests, and preferences you choose to share
• Encrypted client-side before being sent to our servers
• Stored in MongoDB Atlas with encryption at rest

4. What We DON'T Collect

• ❌ No Tracking: No analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising cookies
• ❌ No Browsing History: We don't monitor your activity
• ❌ No Device Fingerprints: We don't collect device tracking IDs
• ❌ No Behavioral Analytics: We don't track engagement metrics

5. How We Protect Your Data

• AES-256-GCM Encryption: Military-grade encryption for messages and profiles
• HTTPS/TLS: All connections use transport encryption
• MongoDB Atlas: SOC 2, ISO 27001 compliant database with encryption at rest
• Railway Hosting: SOC 2 Type II compliant backend infrastructure
• No Analytics: Vercel analytics DISABLED on our deployment

6. Your Rights

• Access: Request a copy of all your data
• Deletion: Delete your account and all data permanently (within 30 days)
• Correction: Update or correct your information anytime
• Export: Download your data in a portable format

7. Children's Privacy

FeelSparked is for users 18+ only. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
